French-born artist (1962 – ), Daniel Raynott became a successful graphic designer in the ’80 collaborating with many international French magazines. During the 1990’s he traveled to the Unites States. Long stays in Los Angeles, California, as well as in Palm Springs, are the sources of inspiration for his recent series of paintings.
Daniel Raynott’s works, painted in oil on canvas, are tinged with optimism. They pay homage to the vibrant sunshine of California, to the joy of living and to the sumptuous and daring architectural villas and their swimming pools shimmering with translucent turquoise water.
Raynott currently lives and works in Ireland where he moved 30 years ago to honor his family’s Celtic roots. His paintings are in numerous public and private collections.
