Sono Fine Art is excited to kick off our spring show schedule with an outstanding exhibition featuring exciting new paintings masterfully created by contemporary Sicilian artist Fabio Modica
Fabio Modica was born in Catania, Sicily in 1978. He blends abstraction and representation with a dramatic, vivid color palette that captures the eye of the viewer. His most celebrated paintings are close portraits of female faces and expressionistic landscapes. They are made with multiple layers of textured paint and a combination of powerful block-style patterns and vibrant, thick brush strokes.
He has exhibited extensively throughout the United States, England, Spain, France and Italy; his paintings are included in numerous public and private collections around the world.
The Show runs through March. Hours: Wed.– Fri. 10-5, Sat. 10-7, Sun. 12-5, Mon. & Tues. by appointment.
